Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day to everyone out there.
I have received many Valentine's wishes today from family, friends and colleagues.
Wishes started to pour in at wee hours from Winnie, a good old pal who is in Bahrain now who sent me a text message. I felt really touched with the message she wrote saying that she thoroughly enjoyed our friendship over the years and assure that we will be the same till we age gracefully. Our friendship went a long way back in 1991. Truly miss her laughter much.
This morning, as I was about to leave for work, Dad gave me a hug, peck my cheek and wished me Happy Valentine's Day. He said, since my significant half is not here, this is on behalf of him =). Next, Mum and I gave each other hugs and pecks on the cheeks as well. Love you both.
In the office, I received not only verbal wishes but also emails from friends and colleagues. Deep down, I felt really nice receiving all the wishes despite not receiving any flowers, candy nor chocolates. I was expecting to see quite a number of lady colleagues receiving flower bouquets for the day but surprisingly, I did not.
Not forgetting, my significant half also sent me an email wish from London. Thank you my dear. Two more days for your return to KL. Missing you a lot too.
Later in the evening, my parents returned about 8pm. As Mum alighted from the car, she excitedly told me that Dad got me a Valentine gift...oooooo...that is so sweet of Dad. This is what he has got me..a soft and cuddly plush. It comes with a heart-shaped box of chocolates and mango flavoured candies filling the inner of the heart-shaped mug. It is so cute. Thank you so MUCH DAD!!! You are the BEST Dad in the entire world.
