'Gift' for Grandpa & Grandma
This is a little ironic. My deceased paternal grandparents were Methodist Christian but my family and immediate family members commemorates their departure on All Souls' Day. To add that on, it is a yearly practise during the 'Ching Ming' festival, my mum would be offering food, tea and burning joss sticks at the altar in our house. Mum will also burn joss papers (paper gifts) for 'them' to use in the netherland.
This year, I followed mum to the shop which sells these creative offerings in SS14. It was rather interesting to see the varieties of 'paper gifts' sold at the shop. Items sold were basically what we human have. You name it, the shop has it.

And here's the 'gift' for grandpa which include clothings, telephone, toiletries, Guiness Stout beers, silver and gold bars.

Forgot to take a photo of grandma's 'gift'. We've also packed in 2 more boxes items such as canned drinks, gold bars, Hell notes, hot thermos, cups, wallets. We've even got passports for 'them' to travel. Haha!!
And here's the final 'package' to 'them'. All nicely packed in boxes and sealed ready for burning.
