Some magazines and roti jala for Noelle

As the title suggest, "Some magazines and roti jala for Noelle". This was a clue given to me last month by a close friend over a chat. According to him, he came out with this clue for an answer to a Christmas gift for his colleagues who would be able to crack it. Being a "Baby" hunter, I was not able to decipher the clue after some thoughts. What a shame..anyway, the answer to the clue was Christmas magnet.

Ok..wonder how to decipher this? Here it goes..this clue has 3 parts.

1) Some magazines = Some is an indicator that part of the answer is from the word magazines.
2) Roti jala = Bread net
3) Noelle = Female French given name that means "Christmas"

So you put mag + net together because the word "and" in the clue and hence, you get "Magnet".

Now does that make sense?
