Thou shall not be..
I had been at work for long hours since last week. Well, I am not complaining about the hours that I am putting in but that's the nature of the work. Time management is the key.
I was reading a friend's blog today and I had exactly the same thought as she did. A few days back, I was thinking to myself..
1) Why am I spending so much time in the office?
2) What is it like not to go through the closing cycle every month?
3) Is there a job out there that I don't need to think so much and stress myself?
I did think that it may be nice to get a simple job like a clerk or a receptionist or perhaps a salesgirl at the departmental store. You don't get much stress, no deadlines etc. Well, of course it will likely NOT happen because I have chosen to do what I am doing. But again, the choice is in my hand. Am I willing to let go?
I am quoting this from my friend's blog she has read from an article to share with:
"Leave your job not because of the bad experiences you're getting now; but leave your job because there're something good awaiting for you."
And I totally agree.
