Another backlog..

Went to the Saatchi Gallery a month back with Darren, Stephanie and David. The current exibition 'Unveiled: New Art from the Middle East' runs from 30 January 2009 to 9 May 2009.

Interesting exibition..some photos to share with on some of the interesting works from the artists although I do not comprehend all of them even with the guide book.

This one is pretty interesting. It's called ‘Ghost’. It's a large installation of a group of women in prayer. All of the figures are made from aluminium foil. The figures a bit alien and futuristic right? Gives me a chill down my spine a little when seeing this.


This one is really meant to be upside down. It's an altered photograph of the artist's himself as a baby.
