My cooking projects

Cooking has never been one of the things I did when I was staying in KL. That was because I stayed with my parents and most of the time, mum is always there to cook. Even if there is no cooking, it was always convenient to drive out and pack food back.

Ever since I came to London, I have to begin cooking. Eating out can be rather expensive. With an amount of GBP 15, you can buy a whole lot of grocerries which can last for a week.

It was about 9 years back since I actually cooked for people to eat. Don't count the instant noodles I cooked for others. That's not countable yuh ;p

So the dishes I cooked for my hubby the first time last week were ABC soup (combination of potatoes, carrots and tomatoes) and soy sauce chicken. Hubby said not too bad =). Consider pass I suppose? (** Forgot to take photos)

On Thursay, I cooked pepper udon mee. The result was not too bad. I meant to cook the black pepper udon but I didn't have any black pepper. So I had to do only with the pepper..loads of pepper!! But at the end of the day, hubby said "Tak cukup pedas". Ok..there will be room for improvement.

On Friday, hubby and I cooked a home meal of 3 dishes. I cooked the fried eggs with onions and tomatoes and stir fry Romania lettuce with fermented beancurd while hubby cooked the sambal prawns. We've also invited a friend to join us for dinner that day. Scrumptious meal although it was just a simple one.

We decided to have pasta today and I was chef of the day. What's in the pasta sauce? Sliced button mushrooms, chopped tomatoes and minced meats.

Result: YUMMY!!! Hubby rated GOOD!! =). Thanks dear!! Glad you love it.

Hope to do more delicious dishes and to share it on my blog..for reading only yuh! You got to come to London or wait for me to return to KL if you want to taste it..muahahahha!!
