A new chapter @ 24th May 2008

24th May 2008 marks a new chapter in life for me and Darren, a journey of a lifetime as husband and wife. Maintaining a distance relationship for slightly more than 2 years (me in KL and Darren in London), we have make the commitment of a lifetime to journey our life together as two hearts, two souls and one love.

On this very special day, both our parents, our brothers (Leslie and William), a close ex-colleague, Yen and CK (Yen's bf), both Darren and my immediate uncle and aunty were at SFX to grace our Marriage Registration.

The registrar, Mr.EK John was already inside his office when we entered the room at 9.00 a.m. As everyone took their seats, Mr.EK John started by verifying our IC details against the registration documents.

He then began the ceremony by reading the solemnization of marriage. After we took our vows "Yes, I do", we were officially pronounced as husband and wife.

We then signed the marriage register certificates, 2 originals and one photocopy.

No rings exchanged as it will be done during the Holy of Matrimony (church wedding @ 6th Dec 2008). The whole ceremony took less than 20 minutes.
