Downtown outing

A half day outing to downtown last weekend really drain me out. I was in KLCC, PIKOM PC Fair and Pavillion with Jo Anne and her ex-colleagues.

First of all, it took us an hour to reach KL from my house. The weekend jam was just horrendous and I am so glad I don't need to travel daily to KL for work purpose. Can you imagine, the jam itself just exaust you mentally. Next was the human jam. As the chinese saying "People mountain people sea". Oh man..I can't take it that I ended up in KLCC "Starbucking" enjoying my cup of latte whilst Jo Anne and her ex-colleague went in to the PC Fair to get their items.

Due to parking scarcity around KLCC area, we had to walk back to Menara Keck Seng (next to Westin Hotel). We stopped by at the Pavillion for about 20 minutes to have a quick look at the newly opened mall. Hmmm..quite a few people told me it was an impressive mall. To me, it was nothing to shout about. Probably the judgement came about as I was only there for 20 minutes.

Hence after, we headed to Seri Kembangan for dinner. The food was pretty good and we enjoyed it. Following our sumptuous dinner, we decided to head for some dessert and went to Food Foundry at Seksyen 17 for some Mille Crepe.

For those uniformed, 'Mille Crepe' is a French dessert, basically made by many layers of very thin cooked pancake. There are some custards and other flavorings in between the layers, usually presented in slices. Mille simply means a thousand but obviously, the layers were about 20 here.

We ordered only 2 slices (Vanilla and Chocolate) to be shared among the 5 of us ladies. The texture was so fluffy and light. A little pricey with per slice costing RM9. Nevertheless, it does taste really good and it is fine to indulge once in a while =).
