Weekend in Singapore

I headed down south to Singapore with Han San in conjunction with the extended long weekend due to Hari Raya celebration. The last time I went to Singapore was in June 2005 for business purpose.

We stayed at Jodie's place which is in Yew Tee (north west of Singapore). Thank you to the both of you (Jodie and Johnny) for all the hospitality and also Jo Anne, for sharing half of the bed with me for 3 nights. Hope I did not kick you off the bed.

Shopping has been my main activity there with one of my initial plan to go on the duck tour.

However, the plan took a slight change as I am more willing to part my money on purchases =). On a dollar to dollar basis, things are reasonably priced and affordable. I do not bother to convert anyway. Fashion vice..it's trendier and you can't really find some of the designs in KL. It would have been better if I am earning in SGD as shopping would be more fun then..haha!!

I am happy with all the purchases especially those from Esprit. Whatsmore with greater discounts thanks to Han San's discount card. Thanks Han San!! Biggest purchaser from Esprit was not me though. The champion title went to Jo Anne that she proudly owns an Espirit discount card now. Hope to see a new you when you are back to KL ;).

I couldn't get my hands off as well from purchasing jibbitz for my Crocs. New addition..the moon and the sun. If you are interested in getting jibbitz, do make sure you buy those that you can't find as it would be cheaper to get them from the KL Crocs World.

Just wondering now when will be my next trip to Singapore? Before Christmas?? Sounds like a good idea..I'll think about it.
