Reflection of Joey's 2007 Live!
Last Friday, my mother, brother and I attended Joey Yung's "Reflection of Joey's Live" concert at the Arena of Stars in Genting. This was an unplanned concert I wanted to go. I had to fill in dad's seat as he was unable to make it at the eleventh hour.
Approximately 7.45pm, we took our seats and I was glad that our seatings were good. We had a good view of the stage from our seats. The photo below was taken from where we were seated.
Only 75% of the seats were filled when the concert began at 8.10pm. I guess it was a Friday night and most people would still be at work. It started off with 5-6 dancers coming forward to the stage..did some dancing and there she was, Joey Yung appearing from the middle of the stage. I have seen her a lot on TV but not in real person though. Hence, I was a little awed to see her on stage.
She sang about 20songs with a combination of ballads, medleys and pops. I can't name the title of the songs due to my lack of proficiency in chinese. She changed about 5 different outfits for every 4-5 songs. Joey did not only have fans from Malaysia that night but she also had fans from Hong Kong, China and Singapore. WoW!!! Imagine spending the money to come all the way to KL just to watch her performance. Now that is what I call BIG FAN!! Well of course throughout the whole concert, you can hear fans shouting her name..

Joey has a guest singer as well but I can't recall her name. The guest singer is a colleague of Joey and is quite new to the entertainment industry. All in all, I enjoyed the concert although it was only for 2 hours. A little disappointment though as there was no encore at the end.

The guest singer's name is Vincy, my brother is a big fan of her as well.
really?? hahaha..she is quite good according to my brother. Well, she was good that night though =).
